One Night 2008 :: BIG :: 10.8.08

On October 8th we are taking Axis to the BIG time. We want to releive the pain of school starting back up and take a break and have some fun. We are throwing a BIG party and all 6th-12th grade students are invited. This night will be fast paced and jam packed with all your fav goodies from the word go. You can leave your Visa and Mastercard at home because all of this is being brought to you free. So, grab your buddies and roll on over to Axis Infiniti.

Women's Silent Prayer Retreat
September 5 (Friday) - 7:00 PM
The Women's Silent Prayer retreat is September 5, 6 & 7, 2008, at St. Norbert's Abbey in De Pere. The cost for the weekend is $100. Registration forms are on the information counter in the foyer if you wish to register yet. Contact Lynne Miller (387-4443) for information.

Annual Church Picnic
September 21 (Sunday) - 12:30 PM
The Annual Church Picnic will be held on Sunday, September 21, at 12:30pm at the Horicon Ledge Park upper shelter. There will be: games for kids and adults, food, fellowship and more! Every family is asked to bring a hot dish and a cold dish (a salad or dessert) to pass as we will not be grilling meat this year. Set this day aside, and watch for further details as the date approaches.

See You At The Pole
September 24 (Wednesday) - 7:00 AM
Wednesday, September 24, students all across our nation will be heading to their school's flagpole to pray for their friends, school and nation. Although this is a student-led event, adults are welcome to come and pray with the students at their flagpoles. The time of student-led prayer will begin one-half hour before school officially starts.

CROP Walk
September 27 (Saturday) - 8:30 AM
Mark your calendars for the 11th Annual CROP Walk which will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 9:00am. Participants will gather at Firemen's Field at 8:30am. If you cannot participate as a walker, please consider sponsoring one. The CROP Walk is sponsored by the Mayville area churches and 25% of the proceeds go to the local Mayville Food Pantry which is housed here at CLF. Make a difference in your community and the world! Choir Rehearsals Resume
November 5 (Wednesday) - January 1 (Thursday)
The CLF Choir will resume rehearsals on Wednesday, November 5th, for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. All students and adults are welcome to come to rehearsals which are held from 7:30-8:30 PM on Wednesday evenings. This ministry opportunity is a short-term commitment--only a few weeks. If you have time for a short-term ministry, please come and join the fun, fellowship and music at CLF Choir!
